Thank you for shopping with Export Hut. We are dedicated to delivering our unique, handcrafted products to you, wherever you are in the world. This policy outlines the details of our shipping process and what you can expect when placing an order with us.
1. Order Processing Time
- Standard Orders: All orders are processed and dispatched from our fulfillment facility in Jodhpur, India, within 3-5 business days of order confirmation and payment verification.
- Custom or Made-to-Order Items: Products that are customized or made-to-order may require additional processing time. The estimated processing time for such items will be clearly stated on the product page.
- Order Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation immediately after placing your order, and a second email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
2. International Shipping
- Global Reach: We proudly ship to over 50 countries worldwide via trusted international couriers such as FedEx and other premium logistics partners.
- Shipping Rates: Shipping charges are not included in the product price. They are calculated automatically at the checkout page based on the total weight and dimensions of your order and the destination country/address. This allows us to provide you with the most accurate and fair shipping rates.
3. Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes
- Customer Responsibility: All international orders are shipped on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. This means the recipient is fully responsible for any and all customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or any other additional charges levied by the destination country’s customs authorities.
- Declaration: We are legally required to declare the full value of the goods (not including shipping charges) on all packages. We cannot mark packages as “gifts” or declare a lower value to avoid customs fees.
- Recommendation: To avoid any surprises, we strongly advise you to contact your local customs office to inquire about the potential duties and taxes for your shipment before placing an order. Refusal to pay these charges will result in the forfeiture of your order and will not be grounds for a refund.
4. Shipment Tracking
- Tracking Information: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your unique tracking number.
- How to Track: You can use this number to track your shipment’s journey in real-time via the courier’s official website. Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking information to become active after your order has been shipped.
5. Delivery Address & Acceptance
- Accurate Information: It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a complete, accurate, and valid shipping address, including a postal code and a contact phone number. Export Hut is not liable for orders that are lost, delayed, or returned due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.
- Shipment Acceptance: You or an authorized person must be available to sign for and accept the delivery.
- Failed Delivery or Refusal: If a shipment is refused by the recipient, or if the courier is unable to complete the delivery after multiple attempts due to recipient unavailability, the package will be considered abandoned or returned to us at the customer’s expense. In such cases, the customer will be held responsible for the original order cost, all shipping charges, and any additional fees incurred for the return. No refund will be issued.
6. Packaging
We take immense pride in our products and ensure they are prepared for their international journey with the utmost care. All items are packaged securely in export-grade materials designed to protect them during transit and minimize the risk of damage.
7. Public Holidays
Please note that our shipping partners do not deliver on weekends or on public holidays in either India or the destination country. Please account for these holidays when estimating your delivery timeline.
